Charities using twitpay
You should reach out to Charities. Twitpay would be a really convenient way to donate money and I think Charities will really like the idea!

Allow private payments
It would be nice to be able to send private payments using Twitter direct messaging.

Work with @socialactions for integration with charities
SocialActions is bringing opportunities for involvement/action/change-making to all places on the web, thereby making it easier for everybody to act on causes that matter to them. I recommend you work with them to see how you can use their open API of "social actions." Talk to @peterdeitz, @engagejoe, and/or @christineegger. They are fantastic, and they are the future of social change-making on the web!

Yeah, we always planned on doing that :) It has been a hectic 12 days since we started this, but we will get to it ASAP. Thanks for the suggestion!

enable microlending via @lend4health or Kiva.
Any money twitpaid to @lend4health will be loaned to a micro-loan requestor on www.lend4health.org. Once the borrower repays the loan, the money will be twitpaid back. (a widget that I can include on the site would be very useful for this, or perhaps integration with www.ChipIn.com).

Create a way to fill in the blanks as it were with a link.
For me it would be a simple link like: http://twitpay/MatchesMalone/10 which would send me $10. Allow the users to fill in the blank with why, or maybe that could be filled out in advance as well.

reduce the limit to $5 for funding charities
I owe someone $5 and would twitpay him except I'm not sure he would get anything out of it. If he could at least donate the $5 to a charity I would be less hesitant to use TwitPay.
It would also be a good way of encouraging people to donate to charities.

Currently you can SMS to twitter (40404 in the US) for twitpay.

make elaborate case for non-private twitter accts in FAQ
Just an idea: in "Does it work with protected updates?", link to When In Doubt, Make It Public. Might be too technical for some people, but I think it's a good case for it. I'm not affiliated w/ Jeff Atwood or Coding Horror in any way. http://www.codinghorror.com/blog/archives/000840.html

provide some guidance for subscription-based sites
I am developing a Twitter-based application and would like to offer a freemium model that includes a subscription fee. It would be great / seamless / easy if I could use twitpay.me as the subscription driver, where users can simply promise to pay and get to the content before I follow up through the twitpay.me system. It would be nice to see a blog post, etc. on how subscription-based apps could best leverage your service.
